Q& A: This ad is really interesting, since I have never seen anything like it before. It is different than any movie preview there is. The first time, I saw the commercial I thought it looked really cool, Walt Disney is making a movie that is unlike any other movie that has been ever made. They have not made a movie compared to this for a very long time. Space Jam was the last movie that was made in this style. Enchanted caught my attention because part of it was animated and the other half was real life. This is effective because people can see some of the scenes of the movie and also it has an interesting plot line to it. The humor is used by making references on some of the old movies from Walt Disney, for example Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. People can also relate to this movie because it talks about dating as well. The elements of puffery use the comparisons of product to its earlier form because it talks about all the movies before Enchanted came out. The trailer shows how it relates to other Disney Classic stories, there adventures, expressing that there is nothing like Enchanted. The ad is really selling family togetherness and good times while watching the movie, because this is a movie that the family can enjoy. The ad was effective in reaching the ads target market because it reached kids and preteens who would want to watch the movie in theaters and want to go and see it. The ad influenced me to see the movie in theaters and then I bought the movie on DVD because I loved the movie so much. It is one of the greatest movies there is that Walt Disney has ever made.
